Lloydminster teens advance to represent in provincial football all-star game

Four Lloydminster teens have made it one step closer to playing in the 29th Annual Senior Bowl High School Football All-Star Game taking place Edmonton.

The training camp saw 147 high school football players from across Alberta play over the weekend to narrow down the competition to 42 players.

The players that will be representing Lloydminster include, offensive guard Kyle Theiss and defensive corner Garrett Musgrave. There will also be two players from Holy Rosary High School, linebacker Chopper Hippe and defensive back Eli Klassen in the running.

The players selected from the first round of competition will move on to play for Senior Bowl “South” Selection Camp this weekend at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
