Lloydminster man charged with impaired driving

A Lloydminster man has been arrested after getting into a car accident.

In the evening of Sunday, March 22, the RCMP responded to a call of a vehicle that hit a light pole, then hit a tree, causing considerable damage. The RCMP investigated, and have found that the driver was impaired, and have charged the 59-year-old.

“Impaired driving is something that can be avoided by simply planning a safe ride home if you plan on drinking,” said Constable Kirzinger.  “It is a relief that no one was injured in this incident.”
