Two RM’s in Saskatchewan placed under a fire ban

UPDATE: Both fire bans in Mervin and Frenchman Butte have been lifted.

Drying weather conditions and winds have placed RM of Frenchman Butte No. 501  under a fire ban.

On Monday, Frenchman Butte said that they were under a full fire ban; prohibiting any open fires in the area, including campfires.

The ban is in place until further notice.
