UPDATE: RM of Wilton has lifted their partial fire ban. Residents are being reminded to have a burn permit for any related activities.

The Rural Municipality of Wilton has been placed under a partial fire ban, effective immediately.
The RM announced Thursday that recreational fires are still allowed, however all previously issued burn permits have been cancelled and no more will be issued.
The ban will be in place until further notice.
