Lloydminster traffic stop leads to drug charges

The Lloydminster RCMP says one man is facing trafficking charges after drugs were allegedly found inside a vehicle.

Police pulled over the vehicle on May 18th, and during a search, they say they found 61 grams of cocaine, 27 Grams of meth, a small amount of marijuana, and over $3100 in Canadian currency.

46-year-old Brian Lundy is facing several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime. Lundy appeared before a justice of the peace, has been released and will appear in Alberta Provincial Court June 12th.
