The Saskatchewan NDP Party have named a high school teacher their candidate in Lloydminster for the next provincial election.
Lloydminster Comprehensive High School teacher Michelle Oleksyn was acclaimed to the position on the evening of Friday, April 17, at the Best Canadian Motor Inn. She says education will be the focus of her campaign, and that she hopes to motivate the young adult community to vote.
The date for the election has not yet been set, but it is expected to happen in the spring of 2016.
