Lloydminster students recieve Senator’s Award

Two students in Lloydminster have received the Senator’s Contribution Award.

The award is given out to students across the province who’s hard work and determination makes an impact on their community and school. Lloydminster Comprehensive High School’s Dustin Snider and Holy Rosary High School’s Ethan Patterson were among the 91 students to receive the award.

Senator Doug Black, who presented this year’s awards, says students like these make  “quiet actions
to improve life in their communities every single day,” and says it is important for that to be recognized.

The awards are given out yearly, and students are nominated by their school.
