Funnel clouds may develop this afternoon leading to a weak tornado, according to Environment Canada.
The funnel clouds are caused by weak rotation under fast-growing clouds that is normally not a danger but could intensify to become a landspout tornado. The weak tornado does not usually cause a lot of damage but can be strong enough to damage roofs and topple trees.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor conditions and issue further warnings if necessary.
