Lloydminster-Vermilion Wildrose candidate Danny Hozack is distancing himself further from the Progressive Conservative Party.
The candidate says he will spend the final weekend of his campaign drawing contrast between his party and the government. Hozack says the thing differentiating him from the PCs is that the government plans to drive the province into $31 billion in debt by 2019.
“Many people know first-hand how crippling personal debt can become,” Hozack said, “What many may not realize is that debt for government is far worse. ”
Hozack also says that by 2019, taxpayers will be paying almost $1.9 billion in interest.
The election will take place on Tuesday, May 5.
