UFO spotted in Lloydminster in 2017: Report

There was one reported UFO sighting in Lloydminster last year, according to a 2017 Canadian UFO Survey done by Ufology Research in Manitoba.

The sighting was on February 8 at around 6:00 p.m. on the Alberta side of the city. The UFO was reportedly an orange sphere that was described as a ball of fire. Across Canada, there were 1,101 UFO sightings reported last year with about 8 per cent being unexplainable and 43 per cent being simple lights in the sky.

The report says that most witnesses are pilots, police and other people with “reasonably good observing capabilities” and “good judgement.” UFO sightings still remain high in Canada with 2017 being the fifth year in a row that there have been around 1,000 or more sightings.

Explanations for the sightings include people are unaware of the nature of objects in the sky, more people are able to report sightings with easier access to technology or the downturn in the economy is leading to more people looking skyward for assistance.

The data suggest that aliens are not visiting earth rather more often than not people are misidentifying conventional objects.
