DARP Advisory Committee looking for members

The Downtown Area Revitalization Plan has already kicked off its plans to improve the downtown and is now looking for volunteers to make up its advisory committee.

The committee will provide advice, share ideas and suggestions for projects that could be implemented. The self-governed committee will have its members determine the times and dates of when they meet, as well as won’t have to record minutes.

Respond to information, data and resources requests, update council on projects and advocate for the city’s downtown are some of the responsibilities members of the committee will take under their belt.

People interested will have to send an expression of interest letter to City Hall by July 30.
