A body found on Highway 4 approximately 1 km south of Battleford is a result of a hit and run.
Battlefords RCMP say the body was found on Wednesday morning and after starting an investigation they believe the man was hit by a vehicle who left the scene.
Police have identified the man as 33-year old Merle Curley from Mosquito First Nation and are continuing to investigate.
Anyone with information regarding Curley’s whereabouts before his death or of the vehicle is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
