Lloydminster Rescue announces Sirens and Sapphires Gala

Lloydminster Rescue will be celebrating a significant milestone in October.

The squad has been in Lloydminster for thirty years, and will be honouring that milestone with a gala. The gala is called Sirens and Sapphires, and will feature live music, a live and silent auction, door prizes, and a prime rib dinner, with all proceeds going towards the squad’s training and equipment.

Co-Chair of the fundraising committee Bob Day says that the squad is run as a charitable organization, and that it depends on the generousity of the community. The fundraising goal of the gala is $200,000.

The gala will take place October 17 in the Stockade. Tickets are $125 per person, or $1,000 for a table of eight.

To buy tickets, call Dale Luc at (780) 898-4045, Bob Day at (780) 808-1707 or Caroline Warrington at (306) 830-2526.
