Several construction projects completed in North Battleford

As summer winds down so does construction in North Battleford. During the summer several projects have seen completion, however, some roadways are still closed due to further work.

Paving is done at the Civic Centre parking lot and the area is open to traffic. Rehabilitation on Thomas Avenue and Abbott Avenue has also been completed and reopened to residents.

Underground utility work is completed on 105 street along 10 and 11 avenue, but the road will remain closed while roadway construction takes place starting August 7. The project will also see new water pipes being commissioned, which has put in place a drinking water advisory for residents in the area.

Also on the list of projects waiting for completion is tree planting and street fixture installation on 101 street from 12 to 14 avenue. The 1300 block will remain closed for six to eight weeks during the upgrades.
