Point Man Program delivers for LRHF

The Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation says it has raised $1,600 through the Acklands-Grainger Point Man Program.

For every point scored this season by Bobcats forwards Lukas Biensch and Kevin Darrar, $25 was donated to the LRHF by Acklands-Grainger, while playoff points were worth $50.

LRHF CEO Wendy Plandowski says she and the health team are “very excited to work with Acklands-Grainger and the Lloydminster Bobcats again this year. Every dollar, and every point scored, makes a difference, and this program will bring us one step closer to reaching our goals for enhancements to healthcare in our community”.

The LRHF says that all money raised by the program will be donated to projects at Lloydminster’s hospital.

Now in its fifth year, the Point Man Program has raised over $5,000 for local healthcare.
