City Hall announces list of services offered on Victoria Day

The City of Lloydminster has released a list of public facilities that will be open on Victoria Day Monday.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, with regular hours of operation resuming on Tuesday, May 19.

The Operations Centre will be closed. The City has a Public Works crew on standby that can be reached at the after-hours number, (780) 872-5418 or via the city’s website.

The Public Safety Division (Bylaw Office) will be closed on Monday.

The Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre (LCSC) will be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. LCSC Summer Hours take effect beginning Sunday, May 17.

Public swimming will be open at the Lloydminster Leisure Centre from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Drop-in rates apply. 

The Servus Sports Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday. Drop-in rates apply. 

The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre restaurant will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday. The golf course will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information or to book a tee time, call (306) 825-5494 or visit www.lloydminster.ca/lgcc.

The Centennial Civic Centre administration office will be closed. The Archie Miller and Russ Robertson Arenas are closed for the 2015 season.

The Lloydminster Sanitary Landfill will be closed. The landfill will be open Sunday, May 17 from 12 to 5 p.m. as per the landfill’s summer hours.

Garbage, Organics and Blue Bag curbside collection will be completed on Monday, May 18 in the blue zone. The Collection Calendar is available at www.lloydminster.ca/Green123.
