Alberta’s consumer investigators coming to Lloydminster

The Government of Alberta’s ConsumerĀ Investigators will be stopping in Lloydminster. The investigators will provide an opportunity for residents and businesses in the city to learn about resources to protect consumers.

The investigators will be able to discuss issues around home renovation or landscaping contractors, high-pressure sales, landlord tenancy issues and misleading and other unfair business practices with residents.Ā They will also be available to answer any questions and provide advice.

Lloydminster RCMP says a wide range of topics will be discussed and anyone with concerns about business practices should attend. The investigators will be at the city’s RCMP detachment on August 15 and 16 between 8:30 a.m and 4:00 p.m.
