The Lloydminster RCMP are providing a boost to the Salvation Army Food Bank through their Stuff the Cruiser fundraiser.
The police will be set up in front of the Co-Op Marketplace, Superstore and Safeway on Sunday, May 31, from 12Â to 5 pm, collecting non-perishable donations.
“The Lloydminster RCMP are invested in this community and want to see everyone that lives here have the best,” said Constable Grant Kirzinger. “We are hopeful this event will be a success and are asking for your support to help us collect as much food as possible.”
Kirzinger also said that the event could become an annual event if it proves successful.
The Co-op Marketplace will also sell pre-packaged bags for the food bank at $10 and $20.
