Lloydminster Bobcats acquire six new players

The Lloydminster Bobcats have collected on theĀ future considerations they got through trades last season.

Twenty-year-old goalie Christopher Tai will be returning to Lloydminster from the Coquitlam Express of the BCHL, where he posted a 19-14-1 record, with an .899 save percentage.

The Bobcats will also get 20-year-old Brooks Bandits captain Madison Dunn, as part of the deal for former Bobcats captain Linden Springer.Ā The Calgary native registered eight goals andĀ 35 assists for 43 points in 60 games with the Bandits last season.

Lloydminster will also receiveĀ two 20-year-olds from the Prince George Spruce Kings,Ā forward Marco Ballarin and defenceman Adam Clements, 19-year-old Spruce Grove Saints defenseman Graydon Smith, and another future consideration from the Whitecourt Wolverines, which will be named before October.

ā€œIt’s nice to finally have these deals completed,ā€ said Gord Thibodeau, Head Coach and General Manager of the team. ā€œThis will serve to improveĀ the depth on our roster, and give us more options to improve the team moving forward.ā€
