Border City Rotary Club announces donations to organizations that benefit youth

The Border City Rotary Club has announced donations to three charities from the money raised at their Irish Pub Night.

The club raised over $50,000 at their March fundraiser, and decided to donate the money to organizations that benefitted youth.

The Lloydminster Community Youth Centre was the biggest recipient, at $14,800, while the Interval Home received $10,900 and the LPSD Drum Line band received $3,000 for new equipment.

The club kept $6,300 for its own youth programs, and put the rest into a contingency fund.
