UPDATE: North Battleford RCMP issues Amber Alert

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been cancelled. RCMP say Emma was found safe within North Battleford. The six-year-old was found at around 6:45 a.m. and is currently being provided medical attention.

RCMP has activated an Amber Alert to find 6-year-old Emma O’Keeffe.

Emma was last seen wearing a navy-blue long sleeve shirt, black jeans, pink socks with no shoes and is wearing a diaper. RCMP says that she suffers from epilepsy and autism. Emma is non-verbal and unable to walk.

RCMP currently have no description of the suspect. Police believe the abduction happened at a North Battleford strip mall on 11204 Railway Ave.

The suspect is reported to be driving a dark grey 2010, Mercedes Benz GL350 Bluetec SUV with Saskatchewan license plate 897 HMX. The direction of travel is unknown at this time
