Métis students at Lakeland College will be getting a financial boost. The college is working with the Métis Education Foundation to establish a special purpose fund of $130,000 to provide bursaries and awards to Métis students. The fund will allow for the distribution of two to four awards each year, between $2,500 and $3,500 each. The initiative will be launched at a signing ceremony at the Lloydmister campus on Wednesday, June 17th at 11 am.
