Turtleford RCMP is investigating a suspicious death on Thunderchild First Nation.
On Saturday, police received a complaint of an unresponsive man on a residence in the First Nation. When RCMP arrived, they found a 57-year-old man in medical distress. He was later pronounced dead by EMS.
An autopsy was done on Tuesday to determine the cause of death. At this time, the death is considered suspicious by police.
RCMP Major Crimes Unit North, North Battleford GIS and Forensic Identification section are assisting in the investigation.
