Lakeland College is celebrating a $35,000 donation. The owners of Little Ranching have given $25,000 to be used for student awards, and $10,000 for improvements to the Equine Centre at the Vermilion campus. The Littles’ connection to the college goes back to the 1980s when they took care of student horses at their ranch, supplied cattle, and donated to the rodeo team. The college says that some of the money will be used for new arena video equipment, so that the rodeo team can study past performances.
