Precautionary air quality advisory lifted by AHS

Alberta Health Services has lifted its precautionary air quality advisory after most of the province was covered by smoky skies due to the wildfires in British Columbia. The advisory was issued on August 8 with Lloydminster experiencing poor air quality in the late summer.

“Wildfires that variably impacted air quality in Alberta, are no longer a threat to air quality at this time,” said AHS in a release.

They suggest improved air quality will continue across the province.
