The City of Lloydminster is working on a Facilities Master Plan. From now until April of next year, WSP Canada will conduct an evaluation on the current status and long-term needs of recreation, culture, education, and emergency service facilities in Lloydminster. Director of Community Services, Don Stang, says that the assessment will shape the future of public facilities in the Border City. It will focus on community feedback, potential opportunities, renovation costs, and a long-term strategy. Members of local advisory boards or community organizations who wish to be involved in the study may contact Peter McHugh, General Manager of Facilities, at 780-871-8335.
