Police arrest two after finding stolen vehicle

Two people have been arrested by Kitscoty and Lloydminster RCMP after reports of a suspicious vehicle.

Last Tuesday, Kitscoty officers responded to a vehicle in the area of Range Road 20 and Township Road 522. Witnesses told RCMP the truck drove through a ditch and fence. The two suspects inside then fled on foot.

Lloydminster RCMP Police Dog Services were on scene and helped arrest the suspects a short time later. The truck was reported stolen from Lloydminster on Sept. 27.

A man from Onion Lake is facing several charges including possession of stolen property over $5000. A man from Frog Lake has also been charged.
