Two people are dead after a midair plane crash. On Sunday night, emergency services received a report of a midair collision involving two small airplanes in the skies east of Fort McMurray. One of the planes managed to land safely, with no injuries reported, while the other plane was missing. A short time later a medical helicopter found the plane crashed in an isolated area. Police have confirmed that the two occupants of the second aircraft did not survive. The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
