Lloydminster hits record low temperature

October continues to see cooler temperatures as much of September has in the Border City. According to Environment Canada, the city has set a new low in temperature.

On Wednesday it reached minus 9.5 degrees, breaking the previous record of minus 7.8 degrees set 12 years ago in 2006. The average low in Lloydminster for October 10 was minus 0.6 degrees.

Some sunshine is expected for the weekend with a high of 5 degrees Sunday.
