A teenage love affair has led to a serious brawl in Bonnyville. On Sunday, June 21st, at 1:30PM police were called to a domestic dispute at the Fas Gas store on 50th Avenue. Two teenage girls, ages 16 and 18, had reportedly broken up, and the fight that followed left the entire store in disarray. Police learned that the night before, the 16 year-old assaulted the 18 year-old several times, and strangled her. The victim then fled to the Fas Gas, but was followed, and assaulted again. When an onlooker tried to intervene, the 16 year-old threw a jar of salsa, and then ripped a large coffee machine off the wall and attempted to throw it. She has been arrested and charged with Assault and Mischief.
