The Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association is honouring Canadian troops with a ‘Red Friday’ military display. From noon ’till 6PM on Friday, July 10th, the association invites all residents to wear red to Colonial Days in honour of the armed forces. The display will feature a Wrecker, a G-Wagon, an Ambulance, and a variety of weapons. A $1 donation from the gate admission will be made for each person wearing red; to go toward the Lloydminster Legion, and the Wainwright and Cold Lake Military Family Resource Centres. All armed forces personnel and veterans will receive free admission – just make sure to bring proper identification.
