Lloydminster Outdoor Pool Grand Opening

The Lloydminster Outdoor Pool is set to open for the season. Following several months of maintenance and renovation work, a special grand-opening celebration is planned for Friday, July 3rd. From 1-3PM, pool staff will be handing out free treats, and hosting games for kids. The first 50 visitors will also be entered into a draw for a free season pass. Improvements included new windows and flooring, upgrades to the change rooms, and two new slides.
“The outdoor pool is always a popular attraction through the warmer months,” said Cindy Rekimowich, General Manager of Parks and Recreation. “We identified areas that required upgrades, which were addressed prior to opening. We know our regular pool users will appreciate the improvements.”
Located at 4713 57 Avenue, the Lloydminster Outdoor Pool offers a variety of programs, including Red Cross Swimming Lessons and water aerobics for swimmers of all ages.
