Winter weight season delayed

Due to weather and road conditions, the 2018 winter weight increase is postponed.

In a news release on Thursday, Saskatchewan says roads can be damaged if they’re not fully frozen. Usually, on November 16th the number of weight trucks can carry increases due to the roads being strengthened when frozen. The province says roads will be monitored and the winter weights will be issued once freezing is complete.

Truckers can learn more about road restrictions by heading to Saskatchewan.ca or by calling the Highway Hotline.
