Battlefords RCMP confirmed a crash on Highway 16 took a life this morning.
Police say that a vehicle heading eastbound lost control crossing a median into westbound traffic. The passenger has passed away as a result. A 26-year-old and 2-year-old child in the same vehicle, as well as a 29-year-old female from a westbound vehicle, were transported to Battleford Union Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
RCMP, EMS, Battlefords Fire Department and North Battleford Community Safety Officers were at the accident maintaining traffic while RCMP collision Analyst attended.
