City Hall looks for nominations for block party

The City of Lloydminster is looking for neighbourhoods for its first official Neighbourhood Block Party.

City Hall says it will organize a party celebrating the city’s community spirit for one lucky neighbourhood, based on nominations from residents.  Patrick Lancaster, General Manager of Cultural and Social Services, says there’s no set criteria for nominations, and that he’s leaving it open for members of the community to tell them why their neighbourhood is a deserving recipient.

A short survey to nominate your community can be found at lloydminster.ca/blockparty. The deadline for applications is Friday, July 24.
