Onion Lake RCMP arrest subject on Canada wide warrant

Late in the afternoon of December 6, members of the Onion Lake RCMP and Crime Reduction Team received information that a person wanted on a Canada-wide warrant was at a home on Onion Lake First Nation.

Members went to the place where the suspect was supposed to be staying and saw a vehicle starting to leave.  The vehicle was stopped after being boxed in by several police vehicles and several subjects were apprehended. Drugs were found in this vehicle.

Arrested on several charges is Tamarah Lee Dillon of the Onion Lake First Nation.  She is facing the following charges; break enter and theft, theft under $5000, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified and obstructing a Peace Officer. Dillon is being returned to federal custody for being unlawfully at large.

Also arrested on several charges was Krysta Dillon of the Onion Lake First Nation. She is facing charges including break and enter theft, theft under $5,000, operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by police and possesion for the purpose of trafficking.

Both will appear in the Lloydminster Provincial Court on December 10th, 2018.
