Two arrests have been made in the disappearance of 25-year-old Lindsay Jackson. Lindsay had been missing since September 22, 2018. Her body was recovered in the North Saskatchewan River on October 3, near Brosseau, Alberta.
An autopsy was conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on October 4. The investigation determined that Lindsay’s death was a homicide.
Jena Lynn Hunter (26) of Edmonton and Jermaine Eugene Steinhauer (23) of Edmonton were arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Both suspects have been remanded into custody for a court appearance on December 20 at the St. Paul Provincial Court.
