Irish Pub Night nets thousands for Lloydminster Youth Centre

The Lloydminster Community Youth Centre just received a big chunk of change from the Border City Rotary Club. The club gifted the centre with the money raised from Irish Pub night, totalling $35,000. This donation brings the total dollars raised by the Rotary Club over three years to over 100 thousand dollars. Lloydminster Community Youth Centre’s Les Hansen says it means a tonne. Hansen says the money will go towards upgrades and a new gymnasium at their new facility. Irish Pub Night Co-Chair, Michelle Benning says the club is always looking for volunteers who want to give back. Benning says the entire club helped out with Irish Pub Night along with other events throughout the year.
