Lloydminster RCMP investigate car crash

Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Lloydminster.

In the afternoon of Friday, July 24, a car  was headed north on a gravel road, when it collided with a westbound gravel truck at the intersection of 12th street and 59th avenue.

All three occupants of the car were taken to the hospital, where the driver was airlifted to Edmonton and one passenger was airlifted to Saskatoon with serious injuries. The other passenger of the car was treated in Lloydminster, and has since been released. The driver of the gravel truck was not injured.

The RCMP says the investigation is ongoing.
