Two Hills RCMP looking for boat thief

Two Hills RCMP are investigating after a break-in and theft.

In the morning of Sunday, July 26, the police received a report of two vehicles breaking the gate on a compound, and stealing a boat and trailer. The RCMP say that both trucks involved were captured on security cameras towing boats as they left the compound, but only one boat was stolen.

The police say the first vehicle was a white four-door Ford FX4 with oversized tires, towing a white boat with an orange stripe and an orange cover. The second vehicle is described as a two-tone four door Ford truck, white on top, and a dark colour on the bottom, towing a white boat with a green cover.

The stolen boat was a 1998 Sylvan 1600, white with a blue stripe. The stolen trailer was an aluminum 1998 Shorelander boat trailer, with a green cover.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Two Hills RCMP at (780) 657-2820 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted online at www.tipsubmit.com.
