Maidstone RCMP seeking help finding missing woman

Early Thursday morning Maidstone RCMP say they got a report that 34-year-old  Amanda Michayluk had gone missing near Maidstone.

Mounties say that Michayluk was chopping wood with her father when their truck got stuck. Michayluk walked to find help and has not been heard from since. RCMP followed Michayluk’s footprints to a nearby Range Road where it appeared she was picked up by an unknown vehicle.

Michayluk is described as 5’9″ tall, 115 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, glasses, wearing a denim skidoo suit, toque and winter boots. Police say that Michayluk requires medication which she does not have with her, which could impact her health if not taken.

If anyone has information on Michayluk, her whereabouts, if you’ve seen her, contact Maid stone RCMP at 306-893-4800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
