A Cold Lake man has committed to stand trial for his role in the murder of 44-year-old Dennis Cardinal.
In 2011, Cardinal went missing, and an investigation concluded he had been murdered. July 23, 2014, the RCMP laid charges against Cardinal’s roommate, Tyler Arsenault.
“Regardless of the passage of time, the RCMP is committed to never forgetting about victims of violent crime, with our goal to bring these historical crimes before the courts for prosecution,” said Staff Sergeant Jeremie Landry, commander of the Cold Lake RCMP detachment.
Arsenault is accused of Manslaughter and Indignity to a Human Body. He will be arraigned Monday, September 14.
