The City of Lloydminster begins the next part of the culvert-crossing rehabilitation project. In a statement, the City says the 50th avenue/62 street intersection will be closed to traffic temporarily due to work on a culvert-crossing near the area. Signs will be in place to notify the public before construction.
The City says construction is expected to begin on Friday, March 8, and will take around a month to complete. Last month, construction began on underground drainage at 62 street between 49 avenue and 50 avenue as part of the Northwest Drainage Channel Upgrade project.
