Onion Lake RCMP investigate church break-in

Onion Lake RCMP are looking for those responsible for a break-in at a church.

Tuesday, August 18, the RCMP received a report that sometime between Saturday, August 15, and Monday, August 17, someone had broken into the reserve’s Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

A shop that is operated by the church named Cree-ations had a window smashed, and several items were stolen from it, including pictures, a vintage baby blue coloured hair dryer, and traditional First Nations beadwork.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Onion Lake RCMP at (306) 344-5550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted online at saskcrimestoppers.com.
