Lloydminster RCMP investigating hit and run

Lloydminster RCMP members are investigating a hit and run with a fence along 36 street. At noon on Tuesday, April 23, Mounties were called to a single vehicle collision on the 3700 block of 57 avenue. An SUV crashed into a backyard fence of a single residence house. Someone working in the backyard was struck with debris but was uninjured. The lone female driver fled on foot and the cause of the collision is not yet clear.

Police Dog Services were deployed in the area, however, the suspect was not found. Further investigation revealed the SUV was stolen in Lloydminster yesterday. The Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating the driver. She’s described as indigenous, with dark hair, wearing a black hoodie and black pants with a white stripe.
