Major Crimes Unit investigating suspicious death in Lloydminster

The RCMP Major Crimes Unite is investigating the suspicious death of a Lloydminster man. On Saturday, April 27, around 7:40 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP members responded to multiple calls of shots being fired. Mounties went to a residential neighbourhood in the Rendell Park School area and found a dead male inside a vehicle.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Lloydminster RCMP Detachment and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, at the Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Edmonton.  It’s believed this was an isolated incident with no threat to the school.
