Lloydminster RCMP investigate gun incident

A home in the 5400 block of 51st street was cordoned off after an incident involving a gun.

The Meridian Booster reports that early in the morning of Thursday, September 3, the RCMP were called to the home, after two people sustained non-life threatening soft tissue injuries.

Constable Grant Kirzinger says the residence is known to police, having been there in the past, and that no danger to the public exists. The forensic investigation unit, police dog services and general investigation section are investigating to determine who was responsible for the incident.

No arrests have been made.
