Lloydminster RCMP investigating school bike theft

The Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying someone seen stealing a bike from a school. Video footage shows the suspect targeting black and grey North Ridge XC29 mountain bike at a school near the 5500 block of 31 street.

The video shows the suspect ignoring the other bikes, cutting off two locks on the bike and riding it away. The RCMP say this unknown person is a suspect in multiple bike theft files from Lloydminster. The suspect appears to be a heavy-set white male, wearing dark coloured clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lloydminster RCMP at (780) 808-8400 or your local police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
