Lloydminster Tourism releases results of Visiting Friends and Relatives Survey

Lloydminster Tourism has released their results of the Visiting Friends and Relatives Survey.

The survey was conducted all summer long at public events starting with Colonial Days, and wrapping up at Wagon Week Breakfast. The organization says the survey was a success, as they received 25% more surveys than they anticipated.

The survey found that 79% of respondents would recommend Lloydminster as a place to visit, and that 86.9% of visitors came to see friends or families. The survey also found that the city’s most popular attraction was Bud Miller Park, and that the least favourite part of the city was traffic.

The organization say they will use the data to better market Lloydminster as a destination.
