The Lloydminster Bobcats have signed a goaltender.
18-year-old Brandon Kegler has joined the team, following his release from the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes. Kegler played last season with the Leduc Midget triple-A Oil Kings, registering a 3.8 goals against average and a .903 save percentage in 15 games. This preseason, Kegler appeared in two games with the Hurricanes, registering a 1.48 goals against average, and a .951 save precentage.
With the acquisition, Kegler will join Alex Leclerc and Pierce Diamond in the goalie rotation.
